Jose Mourinho expects Manchester United to reach the end of the month without landing his fourth transfer target. United have delivered three names on Mourinho’s wishlist at a cost of more than 150 million pounds – Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and centre-half Victor Lindelof. The last of those new arrivals did not even make the bench for the 4-0 win over West Ham. And Mourinho is happy with United’s squad depth he has told chief executive Ed Woodward to be cool over the pursuit of a fourth new player. Asked ahead of Saturday’s trip to Swansea whether he expected further signings, the manager gave a negative answer. Mourinho stressed his stability and discipline remained the same despite the promise of the opening-weekend win which saw Lukaku score twice on his debut and Matic star in midfield.
