Liverpool 7-0 Spartak Moscow: Philippe Coutinho hat-trick leads Reds into Champions League last 16 as their ‘Fab Four’ attack crush Russians at Anfield

Liverpool’s thrilling attacking force put in one of their most impressive performances so far to send the Reds through to the Champions League knock-outs as group winners.
They blew Spartak Moscow away in the opening 20 minutes with three goals – Philippe Coutinho from the penalty spot, then after a fine team move, before Roberto Firmino scored an instinctive finish.
Against Sevilla, Liverpool threw away a three-goal half-time lead to draw 3-3 – they removed that risk with two goals within five minutes of the restart here: a Sadio Mane volley and a deflected Coutinho shot which completed his hat-trick. Mane made it six with a flick following a square ball by sub Daniel Sturridge, before Mo Salah got a deserve goal with a clinical finish into the roof of the net
